Let Down by the Nan’tan or How we ran in the wet anyway

Yesterday, YHC promised perfect weather in anticipation that Uecker was going to arrive and shake his anti-rain stick at the sky and keep us dry. After all, he said he was going to bike today, and biking in the wet sounds sketchy at best. When I woke up and saw rain was here already, I was bummed, thinking that few, if any would show for a wet run, so when I pulled in at 525 and saw 5 cars there already, I was pumped! Sadly, our Nan’tan, greatest avenger, Dawghouse rain protector wasn’t there and we had a light rain at 0530. Oh well, rain won’t stop us and we had 5 runners, 2 ruckers and 1 bike log some miles. The runners went over to inspect the street for clean up on Saturday, mainly for YHC to gauge how it’ll go down. Forgot to look for our sign, if it’s out yet, but we’ll do that Saturday morning.
