Mosey to the new deck

Warmup: SSH, loose change, mountain climbers

The thang: a good deck run with pain stations at each level on a soupy, humid morning. We started by running up to the next level then the first station of WW2s. Next level was Merkins then air squats,  Mike Tyson’s at the top then down the ladder to the bottom level for some Carolina dry docks then repeato. We started with 10 reps, subtracting one rep for every rotation through. Some made it through 7-8 cycles. It was a great effort by all considering how rough the humidity has been lately.

Prayers were offered for loved ones, our town, state, country, and humanity. It needs it. I apologize for not jotting down the name of the family after but we also offered prayers for a family friend of the pax. The heat fried my brain.

This morning was a good reminder that you don’t need to make something complicated for it to be good. A simple workout at the new deck gave us the chance to see the sunrise from up high while in agony from Mike Tyson’s. I will never forgive Tombstone for introducing them to us, but they’re a great exercise.

Coffeteria was energetic as always with more discussions of Cat’s travels. Why he isn’t on the F3 podcast is a mystery to me.

Thank you again for the opportunity to lead and contribute. F3 has one of the best parts of moving back to Concord 6 years ago. The anniversary of my first post is coming up. You guys have helped me better myself physically, stay sane(ish), and meet some of the best people in my life. Some of you are a-holes, but I like you too (sometimes more). We’re better together than apart, we hold each other accountable, and we provide stability in a world turned upside down. Tell other people about us and what we’ve done. I guarantee there are men out there who need us and don’t know it. I know I didn’t until KGB invited me. Now I feel weird if I haven’t posted in a few days. Let’s keep this train going as long as we can.
