Heading in to Independence Day Weekend, where we celebrate telling King George to kiss our American ass, I thought the Rocket Route would be appropriate. 2 pax on 2 wheels showed up, then 2 more runners showed, then a lone rucker. At the Dawghouse, nobody goes alone, so change of plan: The bikers will do the Rocket Route, while the runners and lone rucker would do repeats on the Stick route, that way they are always close by.
As this morning’s Q, YHC was on a bike and decided after one Rocket Route that runner Loveboat had a great idea. So Uecker and YHC rode to the Stick to round up those traversing by foot. The rucking Turbine was in a groove with his headphones in as we approached. Loveboat and MASH were making strong sprints on the Stick. We all headed back to the Dawghouse a few minutes early to get 10 minutes of much needed deep stretching.
