17 studs joined the QIC out for a humid beatdown while we played a game of cat and mouse!

Everyone came out ready to go not knowing we would have to climb a fence before the real workout began.  Solocup was stoked thinking we were going to play the cat and mouse game for 45 minutes but the QIC had a 10 minute beatdown planned at the end.

Mosey to parking lot for Warmorama – 25 SSH (IC), 15 IST (IC), 15 Mtn Climbers (IC), 10 Merkins (IC), 10 Penny Pickers (IC) and arm circles.

Mosey to Middle school track for the thang!  QIC showed up with 2 jugs filled with sand.  I think around 25-30 lbs each.  We played a game of cat and mouse.  Someone runs with the jugs while the group does one of 3 exercises that rotated each time.  10 merkins, 10 squats and 10 LBC’s. Each round the pax would sprint after the person running with the jugs.

First person would take the two jugs and run while the other 17 pax would do 10 merkins.  Next person takes the jugs while pax did 10 squats and next person took the jugs while the pax did 10 LBC’s. Rince and repeat until all 18 had run with the jugs.  That left us with about 20 minutes for more fun!  Next exercise planned was in the parking lot by the track.  Bear Crawl to one end and perform 10 Core Killers.  Run backwards to start and rinse and repeat until 10 is called.  Going down by 1 core killer each trip.  Time was called with 8 minutes to spare. Cat and mouse is such a great game because men are really pushed to try and catch someone while others are cheering them on.  Big shout out to TarTar and Ripken who really stepped up and chased some folks down! It was great to see everyone push hard and encourage each other.

I needed help with the sand jugs and I was too lazy to carry them back by myself or drive and pick them up.  So we did an “Indian Run”…..sort of…..It split off real soon to some wide array of guys just jogging across the whole road.  Not sure if it was F3 or FiA with the complete mess we had but it got the job done i guess.  Two men carried one jug each at the front of the line and 2 from the back ran to the front of the line to get the 2 jugs.  Indian type run back to Mary.

Mary – 25 Flutters Kicks (IC), Pretzel Crunch 10 per side single count. A little stretching and time was called.

Moleskin – Reminder about the 5k and 10k coming up to benefit Burn Center.

Prayers – Teen Spirit, Big Bird and Birdcage.

Thank you for allowing me to lead this AM!  It was an honor to lead a great group of men.
