Seven men answered the challenge to post to Kannon Kup and try to unseat Java as the perennial winner of the cup. That hope was quickly dashed as numbers were drawn from the Kup and Java and SirTopEm were paired together. Everyone else was just playing for second.  We moseyed to the top of the horseshoe for WARMARAMA:

20 SSH IC, 15 IST IC, 10 BSN IC, 5 Burpees OYO.

The challenge this month was thus, each pair sent a man clockwise and the other went counterclockwise around the horseshoe until they met.  At this point they completed 10 merkins, 10 squats, and 10 LBCs IC as a team, then each man turned back the way he came until they met again.  At this point the reps were increased to 20.  Continue up to 50 reps and then back down to 10.  First team to finish wins. Of course the winner was team SirJava.  Team RawGun and team BigRisky completed the challenge about a half lap behind the winners.  As the odd man out, YHC ran laps completing half sets at the top and bottom of the horseshoe. He finished last, by a lot.  It must be mentioned that it was a good thing team SirJava finished quickly, because the older half of the pair had to take off and find a restroom due to internal pressures.

COT: Prayers for the YHC’s M’s family as we mourn the passing of her grandmother this weekend.  Also, payers for people in totalitarian counties (specifically Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam) whose leadership is not being very virtuous in the COVID pandemic. Thanks given that we live in a society where we can make decisions for ourselves and our families.
