Today’s theme was “Keep it Simple”. No fancy exercises and no extravagant counting. It was a low turnout for a Tuesday but expected with spring break vacations starting up for you family men. For those wondering, Q did count in Cadence for Side Straddle Hops and Loose Change (Perfectly I may add). Most of the Pax completed 5 to 6 rounds, while Java completed 7. Chatter was average and the Tarheels were discussed briefly of course – Spud couldn’t resist himself. Every now and then it’s nice to just put your head down and workout without thinking. Similar to life, it’s the simple thing’s in life that often provide the most enjoyment. We need to constantly remind ourselves of that. If this last year has taught us anything, I hope it’s that, “to take time for the simple things” (time with family, friends, hobbies, slowing down some, etc.). Enjoy the here and now, be where your feet are. It is always a pleasure to lead and start my days with this group. I look forward to leading again and won’t wait 6 months this time. On a side note to all the Tarheel fans – No one really cares who your coach is.
