6 Dawgs, who didn’t care to stay up any later than usual last night, showed up to get stronger and get a jump on the Five’s challenge. With rain looming, I had to shift from my original plan (we’ll save that torture for another day) and simplify it for today. The rain held off, the workout still sucked, and any complaints can be sent to Yellowcake, though they likely won’t be read.

To get a jump on 5,555 merkins and crunches and 55 miles running, we hit them hard.

Run a lap around the parking lot (~.25 mile)
25 Squats, 50 Merkins, 75 LBCs
Run a lap (~.25 mile)
Repeato until you reach 100/200/300

Count off/nameo…. wait, Talladega, we have 10 minutes left, you’re getting your monies worth.

Option given to keep banking reps, or Peoples Q to let the newer guys get some practice… People’s Q it is.

– Strong work this morning. I didn’t expect 6 to show, but was happy to see it.
– Rerun and Talladega led the way, while Yellowcake and Overdrive gave chase. Strong work put in by Timeout and only getting stronger.
– 2020 sucked for a lot of people, a lot called it terrible, for now, we’ll call it different. Yellowcake challenged us to look at the good that happened. So much negativity fills our lives through social media and different media outlets. Pull out a pen and paper and make a list of what good happened in 2020, I bet that list will surprise you. Learn from 2020 and apply it to 2021.
– Reach out to your F3 brothers, especially if you haven’t heard from them in a while. Your encouragement and accountability mean more than you know. Don’t wait until they stop coming either, engage them now, build relationships with these guys that are right beside you each morning, after all, no man left behind and accountability is a great way to ensure that.
– Prayers for my father in law, Talladega and his wife, and for the new year.

2021 is here, let’s learn from 2020 and keep pushing forward.
