10 Years Strong
6 Poweful Pax gathered in downtown K-town to celebrate 10 years of Fitness, Fellowship and Faith. The plan was to recreate that first workout from a decade ago. We modified to match our AO and it went something like this:
Mosey to Rooster’s parking lot for Merkins x10 IC, Wide grip Merkins x10 IC, Diamond Merkins x10 IC. (The partner merkins were omitted to maintain distance). Take a lap around the lot.
Knee up + Dolly x 10 IC, Flutter Kicks x 10 IC, LBCs x10 IC. Take a lap
SSHs x10 IC, Squat Thurst x10 IC, Mountain Climbers x10 IC.
In lieu of climbing a hill we ran lengths of the parking lot did burpees starting with 1 rep and increasing to 5.
Mosey to the parking deck for 30 seconds of People’s Chair.
Well, that was a fun 20 mins. What do we do now? Don’t worry there’s always a plan.
Deck climb with pain stations:
Level 1: 10 Merkins, Level 2: 20 Squats, Level 3: 30 Dips, Level 4: 40 LBCs, Level 5: 50 SSHs, Down the steps and repeato. Everyone completed 4 or 5 rounds.
COT: Thanks given for F3. Prayers for FireChicken’s family, SirTopHam getting ready to move.
MOLESKIN: I won’t attempt to recount how F3 got started 10 years ago, how far it has come or the impact is having on men across our nation. However, I can talk about the impact this organization has had on me. I’m stronger and leaner but also more equipped for leading others in my life. I thank God for you guys that rallied around me when I first started working out on Saturday mornings, pushed me to keep moving and encouraged me to get one more rep when I thought I had no more to give. I try to pass that on to those that attend now. I appreciate all the life lessons and encouragement guys have passed along from 43 feet further down the road. I’m learning lesson continually about leading and following and that different times in life require one or the other. As we move into another year of life and another decade of F3 we will continue to learn these lessons together and pass them on to those 43 feet behind us.
