Oldman Golfing At the Vet

Well, it was a cold and frosty morning (25F-ish) and low and behold Sanctions made it out of hibernation (he now has a new low record but he may need to purchase some handwarmers in the future). Since we were playing golf today on the disc golf course, Hot Corner came in good fashion wearing argyle socks setting a new positive example and role model as the new site Q.  So off we mosied to warmup at the #1 Tee.

Warm Up: 25 count SSH, 10 count grandpa jacks, 10 count windmills, 10 count fast windmills, 10 count mountain climbers, and a brief up dog down dog sequence.  Then we mosied to the #1 hole.

The Thang: Here we go.  We will do 1 exercise at the first hole, 2 at the second and so on and so forth repeating each time but adding a new exercise each hole.  We will sprint up every hill (well at least for the first 5 holes anyway).  Exercise Sequence.

Hole 1: 10 Burpees

Hole 2: 20 Merkins, 10 Burpees

Hole 3: 30 squats, 20 Merkins, 10 burpees (you all get the point – 12 days of Christmas style)

Hole 4: 40 SSH, …

Hole 5: 50 shoulder presses, …

Hole 6: 60 mountain climbers, ….

Hole 7: 70 LBCs, …

Hole 8: 80 bent over tricep extensions, …

Hole 9: 90 Flutters, …

Total Count (not including warmup): 90 Burpess, 160 merkins, 210 squats, 240 SSH, 250 shoulder presses, 240 mountain climbers, 210 LBCs, 160 tricep extensions, 90 flutters.

Ended with 5 minutes to go, long mosey back to the flags for 20 count W’s and American Hammers to close out the day.

COT Announcements and Prayers: Harrisburg PAX needs 6 to support giving tree type thing for an orphanage they support.  Gremlin on the 30th. We have a few PAX that know people with Covid and some who have lost friends and family due to Covid – prayers all around.

Moleskin: 15 on a cold Saturday is an excellent turnout.  A little bit of complaining about that and heading straight to the grass, but luckily the frost was so thick, the gloves mostly stayed dry. Although I am not sure everyone finished their burpees at each hole.  At the end I was the last one still doing burpees – but maybe this “old-man” (thanks Epsilon) is getting old and slow.  But not too old and slow to lay down a beatdown.
