6 men posted at the corner of pain and progress to see what the MQ had in store. Having suffered a set back in the form of knee pain, YHC decided to find a worthy replacement to lead the PAX. Since they were all busy, Backdraft decided to step up and try to provide a decent workout.
Here’s what he came up with. (Forgive me if this is hard to follow. I think BD was a little drunk when he came up with this one.)
Mosey around the deck and enter the south stairway. Go up two floors and down one. (It’s really not that complicated Squid.) Gather up on the top of the deck for
WARMARAMA: 15 SSHs IC, 15 Mountain Climbers IC, mosey back down to level 1B.
Pairs were formed with individuals of similar physical ability. As a pair perform at total of 10 Burpees then mosey up separate stairways to Level 2 and meet up with your partner and perform 20 J-Lo’s (L-R=1 on all core exercises). Then split up again and go up the other set of stairs to Level 3 and meet up with your partner for 30 KGB’s. Continue this up to Level 4 for 40 Flutter kicks, Level 5 for 50 Freddy Mercs and 6 for 60 Happy Wife. (Most guys, not including YHC had never pumped their hips more than 3 times at once so this was brutal for them.) Once all that was done, mosey down the stairs and repeat.
Most pairs completed 4 rounds with extra credit, Team Java/SirTopHam got five full rounds in. YHC, Sir Limps-a-lot, got an even four half-rounds in, alone. Gather back at the AO for
MARY: Merikin Circle Jerk (or something like that). Start a waterfall of merkins with one rep each. Next time around, two reps each. Continue until 10 reps each (or something that will round up to 10 anyway.)
COT: Backdraft read Romans 12:4-5 and the PAX reflected on how we are accountable to each other and reliant on each other. Don’t go it alone.
