B-Day Beatdown 52

  • When: 11/25/2020
  • QIC: Gunny
  • The PAX: Squid, The Burg, Blue Thunder, Chicken Strip, GrandMaster, Risky Business, SirTopem, BackDraft, Heatstroke

9 PAX joined the QIC in the gloom on a cool overcast morning. The Gunny is 52 years young and ready to throw a beatdown to the young whipper snappers of Kannon

Warmaroma

PAX moseyed to Veterans Park for Warmaroma

SSH X 52 IC – (as tradition has it)

IST X 15 IC –

BSN’s X 10 IC –

Arm Circles

The THANG

PAX Moseyed across the street to the “Smooth Parking Lot” to start getting with it.

Exercise 1 – 10 to 1 Ladder
Side 1 – Hand Release Merkin

Side 2 – KoreKillers

The Twist – 52 ft of lunge walk, 52 ft of bear crawl, and 52 ft of running from side 1 to side 2 and run back. While we waited on the six, PAX completed LBC’s IC and Air Squats to the Nantan’s satisfaction.

Exercise 2

Mosey down to village. FNG “PasserBy” asked why we didn’t have our normal flag with us. As it happens, a certain PAX picked up the flag on Monday but has yet to post since then, so PAX are flag less for the moment. “PasserBy” suggest we needed to do some Merkins to pay for the error.  The Q agreed so the PAX knocked out 20 merkins just because. “PasserBy” did not join in. After the interruption PAX completed 5 “China Grove 2 Steps” on the wall, and Pretzel Crunch.

YHC was appreciative to have a good number of PAX for his B-Day Beatdown including the MECA Nantan himself. Blue Thunder made a return visit after a two year hiatus. I had to include the BearCrawl after Chicken Strips story yesterday. BackDraft said he had a special present for me, I figure I will need a shot of penicillin afterwards. Squid, SirTopem, Burg, Risky, brought it as usual. GrandMaster, well, let’s say finished up on one wheel. During this weird time I have a lot to be thankful for, including my health, family and my Brothers in F3.

As always it is an honor to lead.

Aye!
