Back in January YHC signed up to lead one workout each month for the entirety of 2020, with an eye on any special dates.  Birthdays are clearly obvious ones.  So after navigating most of this wild 2020, and after “celebrating” bdays for Mom, Dad, brother, and the children, one big one remains this year…the lovely wife!  17+ years of marriage and looking forward to many more to come.  Jenny, this one’s for you.

COT: Prayers for Manwich’s friend recovering from heart transplant surgery.  Prayers for Kilowatt, and his family, as they are currently quarantining awaiting COVID test results.  Prayers that a vaccine is close to being available so that we can get back to some sense of normalcy.  We are meant to be proximate as human beings, isolation is no way to live.

• Thanks for joining me for the “celebration” on what likely was the coldest morning yet here in late 2020.  To say this was a tour of the AO would probably be generous.  Maybe a tour of the outskirts would qualify.  Great job by all as getting up to 2 miles with all the other shenanigans is not easy, especially for folks that aren’t all that into running.

• Pox likely believes this may have been excessive running as he came up lame towards the end.  Hopefully nothing serious.  Certainly nothing with Golden Boy’s wheels as he was out front most of the time.
• 150 merkins in this one.  Sneaky high amount.  Quite welcome as YHC is working towards 7K this month for the #20Kfor2020 challenge.
• My headlamp was pretty handy on the dark greenway, but apparently less handy when shining it everybody’s eyes when back in the parking lot…
• Note all the exercises beginning with the letter “J”…pretty much all of them.  The 44 on the other hand, definitely is not there to suggest Jenny’s age today…definitely not.  I can’t even recall her age at the moment, it is just much younger than 44….
• It’s kind of hard to be a husband and a father without a wife, and I got a great one.  She is the crew chief of our family that keeps it running and on track.  I’m immeasurably grateful for her presence in my life.  Happy birthday Jenny!
