another beautiful fall day.  i am thankful for a true piedmont autumn this year.  i miss me some mountains for sure, but maybe can get there soon.

QIC actually came prepared w a script and mostly stuck to it.  Warm-o-Rama’d at OCT and moseyed to the new home of P&P law office for more warmth– back to OCT to begin dat thang:

block work for 2-3 minutes followed by V-ups (or WW2s); mosey to Carolina Courts for 10 burpees; mosey to top of new deck for 10 burpees; mosey to top of old deck for 10 burpees; back to OCT for rinse and repeat until time called.

There are seasons in our lives.  Some seasons are longer than others– sometimes summer is too damn hot, humid and sweltering and sometimes winter is too damn cold, dark and depressing. Sometimes we do not pause to appreciate the chirping of baby birds and growth in the spring nor the changing vibrant color and falling of the leaves in the fall.

Sometimes I need to embrace the raw and frank David Goggins mantra of “nothing gets done being a little bitch” and at other times I need to fall into a warm embrace from an F3 brother of gentle support and encouragement.

I am thankful for the 0600 run today (Monday) w Cat, FC, PT, Tombstone and Hops.  I am thankful to Him for my good health to do so. I do not want Mondays to ever defeat me– do what you do, but I gotta stay hard on Monday mornings. Discipline equals freedom.  I never ride elevators when I can climb stairs.
