YHC was right on time this AM, thanks to a double check of YHC’s alarm prior to falling asleep last night caressing my Mexicali Stout.  Bos paid us a visit from Gas House, and was very thankful to not be alone.

The route was the Reverse Figure 8.  The group was maintaining a blistering pace.  As we approached Skyline Dr., the consensus was make the arduous assent.  This would be YHC’s downfall.  As YHC crested the top, the all too familiar feeling of heat came over YHC.  My hands became clammy.  A knot formed in my throat.  My face went flush.  I could feel the beginnings of something rise up my stomach, into my throat.  I did all I could to keep it down, but thankfully there was a very well lit open area beneath one of Highlands numerous street lights for YHC to spill a little merlot.

After composing myself, we were off and much to my surprise Dutch Boy informed YHC that this was the first time he had seen someone spill merlot at a beatdown.  Thus, YHC popped Dutch Boy’s Merlot Cherry.

Needless to say, the mumblechatter was epic this morning post run.  Thanks for coming out and enjoying the cold temps.
