13 men took the call and headed out to see what nonsense the QIC had in store today.  Fog + 55 meant another solid morning.

Warm up:

Mosey UP Lake Concord away from the hospital (!) and across Branchview to Pinnacle Bank parking lot.  Be careful and/or sprint across Branchview while trying to not get hit by car.  All were successful to that end.  Circle up in Bank parking lot for

Lead into:

That Thang

Increasing distance circuit around parking lot, almost like a suicide in it’s construction, with 10 reps on an exercise at each stop, and taking the long way to all stops.  After completing reps, return to Pinnacle bank parking lot for 10 core killers.  The 5 stops were as follows:

  1. Longhorn for walk-out merkins x 10
  2. Zaxby’s for 180 degree burpees x 10
  3. K&W for WW2s x 10
  4. Taco place that used to be a Vietnamese place that used to be a Thai place for Squats x 10
  5. Mykonos Grill for Bobby Hurleys x 10

Distance increased each time and the full circuit nets you around two miles.  Once the circuit is finished, repeato at 1 and keep rolling.

COT

Millions of prayers for YHC to remember, including Jacob from GWC’s grandad passing, prayers for Cat’s work trip to Seattle, FC’s dad being diagnosed with COPD and working through, FC’s sister struggling with fertility challenges, Bozeman’s friend Aaron’s leukemia diagnosis, and prayers for some 2.0s growing and exercising their right to vote for Cat and Skinner.

Moleskin

Nice little grinder with YHC getting 2.4 miles and the clubhouse leaders getting 3.4.  YHC walked out a tight Achilles, but no worse for the wear at the end.  Had no idea how that would work, but seemed solid enough.  The extra credit crew of Cat, Tombstone, PR, FC crushed it per usual.  Bogey and Bozeman’s improvement has been marked over the last few months, it’s amazing how you don’t realize how much you’ve improved until you realize how much you’ve improved.  No moderately exercising blob of pax today, everyone put forth a strong effort.

Thanks for putting up with the frogger across Branchview.  We all were safe and sound as could be, even though Skinner had to turn on the jets a bit and PR took a dive as he crossed back to the AO.  Q didn’t plan on fog, but refused to adapt and we still crossed the hell out of that street.

Good to have a consistently great group.  Keep crushing it guys.  Great to see Hops out at coffee as he continues to rehab his Achilles. Smart of Homeland to plan his fishing trip right after Carolina played State, that’s thinking.  Thanks for the daily push you all give me to be a better man.

AYE!
