9 men gathered in the gloom to join YHC for my annual Q, this time without @dr.seuss.  I wanted to once again Q in Oct since it is my birthday month, but was I since slacking and waited too late to sign up for a beat down, I led a cruise.  We had a strong showing from the ruckers (4), but the runners still out numbered us.

My plan that I spent hours preparing was for the Pax to ruck/run the Carolando Bird, but it did not go as planned.  The Runners were evidently tired of running the Bird, and since QIC was with the Ruckers, they threw out the plan at the first turn.  The Ruckers were unfortunately following YHC, and when I made a wrong turn in the dark, we clearly cut the head off of the bird… as you can see from the picture below, the end result looked more like a sinking boat that might need to be rescued by our mighty seamen @loveboat or @tugboat_willie.  Oh well… I’ll try again next October!
