Pole Dancing at The Mill
Fresh off five flights in two days, YHC arrived at the AO with only a vague idea of what the morning’s beatdown would look like. Joined by five fitness phenoms, the Q lead the way to the original AO corner for
20 SSHs IC and then a pax started showing signs of breathing troubles, so YHC sprinted to his vehicle to get an inhaler. Guess what, it wasn’t in there, so he sprinted back to find that the needy pax had recovered and promised to take it easy. Thankfully TheBurgh had completed the warm up with the Pax and we moseyed off to the smooth parking lot for
Starting at the north end and heading south stop at the first light pole and do 5 squats. Sprint to the next light pole and do 10 squats. Continue to each light pole increasing the reps by 5 at each pole. The last pole required 30 squats. When you reach the end go back to previous pole and work your way back down.
That went so quickly let’s repeat with Merkins instead of squats. This went a little slower. Cupid really showed out here and pulled away from the group. Must be nice to weight 105 pounds. Kudos to The Burgh also for pushing though and never putting a knee on the ground.
With that misery over, we moseyed over to the stadium, which unfortunately was not open yet. So, we repeated the pole dancing on the adjacent sidewalk with more closely spaced poles and Freddie Mercs. Here the max reps was 25 at the furthest station.
By now, the stadium had been opened so we wondered inside. Take a lap of the stadium stopping at each field light pole for two burpees.
Mosey back to the AO for Broga.
Prayers for us a leaders in our homes and communities. Prayers for upcoming elections and the continuing craziness. Prayers for the traveling pax in Buxton.
Thanks for playing along guys. It was good to meet CueBall, freshly named while YHC was out of town. Thanks to Dark Helmet for showing on Friday to complete the EH. CueBall gave his all during the beatdown. Snowman and Smackdown keep improving. Good to see Smackdown pushing through his breathing issues. The walking will decrease and the running will increase as long as you keep putting forth your best effort. Keep pushing men. As a wise Feline Pescatarian once told me, “The workouts don’t get any easier, but you do get better.”
