- We lost @stifler at the Hill of Shadows but for good reason: he left to Q the Saturday beatdown at Locust
- Great running with all three of you men.
- Gordo and I were talking as we ran down the Greenway about what F3 means to us. We both agreed its great for accountability and neither of us were looking for a reason to take ourselves back to being Sad Clowns. Plus, it gives us a place to act like kids, which is always fun and something we as men don’t get to do much of.
- But most of all, for me, F3 challenges me to do the hard thing. It’s something I think about from time-to-time, and it was a thought in my head as we ventured up-and-down-and-back-up the David Taylor roller coaster. I’d never find myself doing that sort of thing on my own. But because of F3 and the men who join me in The Gloom every day, there we were. 24-hour relay race? Sure. Four-hour beatdown? Absolutely. Daunting mountain relay race in the Blue Ridge? Let’s do it.
- With that in mind, reach out to Pax you haven’t seen in a while. Both @gordo and myself talked about times when we needed the Pax to help pick us up after some injuries and the resulting fog that can set in. We got that, so let’s make sure we pass that along to others who may need us. Even if they aren’t posting, they are still our brothers. That one text or call may the be the push they need.
