17 Ventured through the mist (or was it rain) to succumb to a here-and-there grinder.

The Thang

On only the top deck there was a station at each end where contestants performed each exercise twice per lap around the circle.

All pax made it through the entire circuit before time was called. Q was hoping for a scenic sunrise atop the deck the likes of a Bob Ross dream. Instead we got a dark, damp, misting gloom the likes of a race fan’s butt crack 200 laps into the Coca Cola 600.

It was a pleasure to lead a simple grinder that had everyone beat down but still smiling. Prayers were said for all those with Covid uncertainty and to heal the division in our nation.
