Attacked by Welsh Dragons
All Kannon BackblastsJuly 15th, 2020
6 pax of F3 Kannon arrived in the gloom, ready to do battle with the looming enemy attacking the Village. Disclaimer given and were off to slay the dragons.
We mosey’d towards the Gem Theater, to see if the kids film, “How to Train a Dragon” was showing, but no dice. So we headed slowly into the alley to sneak up on them with our warm-o-rama and it went like this:
- SSHs 25 IC, ISTs 20 IC, Hairy Rockettes 15 IC, Pickers 10 IC, Windmills 5 IC
We left the alley, following the sounds of shrieks from the villagers and headed down West Ave. Beyold at the bottom of the Wells Fargo lot, there they were. The attack began to hit us hard, but the pax took on the challenge of defeating the Welsh Dragons. We made our way to the bottom of the lot and fought our way up the hill taking out each Welsh Dragon as they came with a four step bear crawl, a single merkin, a single plank jack and touching each shoulder. After each dragon was slayed, we added a rep, going up to a 10 count as we neared the top of parking lot hill to the dragon’s lair.
The pax had completed the mission. Now, it was off for some recovery and relaxation as we headed to the Dale statue and grabbed a side of bricks. After each set of 10 count routines were completed, we did a circle around the lap.
- Decline Merkins, Dips, Incline Plan Jacks, Step-ups each leg, Incline Merkins
Next stop was the parking deck down Main where we completed a 10 to 1 ladder, starting with squats and shoulder jump ups on the wall next to the deck. Time was called before hitting all 10 and we headed back to Mary to wrap it up with:
- Freddie Mercs 10 IC, Hello Dollies 10 IC, Leg Climbers 10 IC each leg
That’s a wrap!
Prayers going out for The Burgh, Cupid, all of us dealing with various aspects of COVID and how it’s affecting our lives, schools, people, etc.
Always a pleasure to lead!
