Roaming around the mall
All Concord BackblastsJuly 9th, 2020
Day 4 of YHCs Iron Q week brought him to F3 Concord. Ten pax made it out of bed this morning and ready to go at 0530. Disclaimer given and a mosey out of ASEC towards the mall. First stop was the loading dock area of the Atrium building at the corner of Mall Dr. Circle up:
Warm-o-rama:
- SSHs (25 IC), ISTs (20 IC), Hairy Rockettes (15 IC), Pickers (10 IC), Windmills (5 IC)
Back to the mosey towards the Belk entrance for an Indian Run around the mall. When each pax made it to the back of the line, they dropped for three merkins before running to the front. We returned to the Belk entrance, where the pax lined up against the concrete wall entrance at Belk for the following:
- People’s Chair, Air Presses (15 IC), Mason Twist (10 IC), Jump Up Wall Taps (10 SC), Donkey Kicks (10 SC)
Next up the was a trip around several entrances. At each entrance pax would do a 10 count of reps, run to the end of the row of the parking lot and do the same 10 reps and back to the start point.
- Belk – Mountain climbers / JC Penney – WWIIs / Sears – Plank Jacks / Honey Baked Ham – Monkey Humpers / Movie Theater – Mason Twists
The unplanned wall exercises ate up some of the time, so the rest of the entrances were skipped and we headed back to ASEC for Mary.
Mary
- Freddie Mercs (10 IC), LBCs (10 IC), Hello Dollies (10 IC), Flutter Kicks (10 IC), Pretzel Crunch (10 IC), Leg Climbers (10 IC) and that’s a wrap.
Announcements/Prayers:
- Prayers for 12 year old Jillian and her family with the health of her dad. Such a heart breaking situation for this family.
- F3 Albemarle launches this week. Spud is going to be at the senior center by Branchview and Corban (I think) at 6:15 if you want to clown car with him.
Enjoyed the morning out with the F3 Concord pax. It’s been over a year since I’ve visited this AO. I forgot how much moseying you have to do when you leave ASEC. Good times with a solid group!
Always an honor,
