AOTP – All Over The Place

The rain was unrelenting until Glock showed up, and it mysteriously stopped. But then Ponyboy showed up and the mumblechatter between Glock and Ponyboy completely interrupted Warmarama. Nevertheless, YHC continued on. Even though the rain stopped, we were left with a soggy parking lot to play on. Good times were had! I have to say the smaller crowd sure makes for interesting conversations, and you get to know everyone a lot better. I like that. The men that showed up today, in spite of the rain, were the real winners. Good job men! Today’s boot camp went something like this:

1. Prayed for Ponyboy’s father, struggling with dementia, family pressure and comfort, peace.
2. Prayed for those struggling with depression and loneliness, especially for LNC staff and family.
3. Prayed for our nation and the struggles with division and greed, that we could all come out closer together, and in unity.

Moleskin
The banter and mumblechatter between Glock and Ponyboy was entertaining.
Poutine and Ponyboy didn’t like doing merkins in the street on Shelley with the rest of us, so they ran over to the sidewalk and felt much safer.
When I put this beatdown together, I wanted to challenge the men that showed up, but I think the only one that was challenged was YHC. So when Glock called for suicides, I decided to Modify as needed, and encouraged them as they ran their hearts out.

All in all, it was a great workout, the temperature was nice, and the rain stopped. I got to know these men a little better, and I’m glad for it. Thanks men for supporting me and for helping to encourage me to go further than I would have alone.
