A Bit Humid
All BackBlasts BackblastsJune 10th, 2020
16 men swam through the morning gloom to join YHC to get a little better. Swimming is a better description than running based on the 102% humidity. The morning was further ruined when the one who shall not be named decided to put an end to his mysterious hiatus. This being day 2 of a Grandmaster Iron Q week, everyone was anxiously awaiting some misspoken exercise, or improper direction from the Q. It went a little something like this.
THE THANG: Mosey to Belk parking lot for a standard warm-up: 20 SSH, 15 IST, 10 BSN (loose change) and 5 Burpees. Then mosey up to the Belk store entrance for a ladder. Start with 1 Jack Webb on the sidewalk of bloody knees and then down to the light post for 20 squats. Increase Jack Webbs by 1 and decrease squats by 2 each lap. After that was done mosey around the mall to the short walls outside of Penny’s for another ladder. This time 2 dips on the wall and 10 Core Killers at the lamp post. Increase dips by 2 and decrease the killers by 1 each lap. With that under completed, mosey back to the AO doubling back to pick up the six. Standard planks and broga stretches to wrap it up.
COT: Prayers for the country’s social and physical ills.
MOLESKIN: Thanks for playing along gentlemen. I know I have to bring it to a Concord workout with so many young bucks on this side of the bridge. I’ve been to a few AOs and this is by far the most competitive group of men I have seen. I love it because it pushes us all to be faster, stronger and generally better. It’s also great to see the competition stop and the comradery kick in at coffee which also make us better fit to take on life. Lean on each other, but maybe wait until you’ve taken a shower before you get too close.
In HIS Service,
Grandmaster
