Drop-sets Til We Drop

All Afton Backblasts

May 27th, 2020 By Jeff Wedner

With Booter Q”ing  his first beatdown since social distancing was invented, he felt he had to change it up from his normal partner workouts. The exercises were the same, but the format had some editing. Here is how it went…

525 am, a crowd starts to gather. A quick check of the day since Moolah is here (is it Saturday??)  A clan of visitors arrived at Afton to see what was in store. Welcome Tupperware and Topham Hat. Welcome back, Talladega.

Disclaimer was given and we were off. Grab a coupon and head across the street.

Q explained the process and a demo counted as a warm up.

The thang:

3 rounds of 5 exercises each.

Exercises

Round 1= Merkins, SSH, Imperial Storm Troopers, Plank Kicks, LBC’s

Round 2 (with coupon)= Curls, Squats, Shoulder Press, Tricep Extension, Trunk Twists

Round 3= Carolina Dry Docks, Mtn Climbers, Lunges, Low Flutter, RBC’s

Round 1- Do all 5 exercises, 25 reps each. Jog across the parking lot and back. Do all 5 exercises, 20 reps each. Jog across parking lot and back. Repeato with the drop sets for 15 reps, then 10, then 5.

Complete rounds 2 and 3 the same way.

We finished just in time to call it a day. Luckily, Mary was performed throughout the beatdown.

Talladega took us out with a great prayer to be appreciative during all that is going on around us.

Reminder Afton is doing an Iron Q for June and July, slots are still available, see sign up genius.
