It Never Rains at The Village!

All Boondocks Backblasts

May 19th, 2020 By Big Tuna

Three Pax from the MECA Boondocks AO enjoyed a Big Tuna led mosey around The Village this morning.  It was a great morning and we were greeted by nice weather with lots of humidity but surprisingly there was no rain at this time (after earlier overnight downpours). Pax arrived, shovel flag was planted, disclaimer give and here’s how it went down:

Warm Up

Mosey next door to the church for:

The Thang

Mosey up to the upper parking lot for some 5-corner work – as follows:

Run to each corner and center — starting with ten reps of each, decrease to nine reps of each, down to eight reps, etc. and continue down to one rep.

Finisher –

Mary

COT

Namearama, closing prayer but no coffee today as the Y is still closed! Looked forward to reopening!

Continued prayers for Winston (Baby Face’s son) who is recovering well from for his recent heart surgery and all of those affected by the COVID19 pandemic.

Moleskine

Strong work today – great push by everyone to keep moving. We were lucky that the rain held off but it was quite humid out there so we still got a soaking.  During this pandemic, I’m trying to not take anything for granted as many of the simple, normal parts of our everyday life have been affected.

Those who dare to fail miserably can achieve greatly.”– John F. Kennedy

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking.”– Steve Jobs
