6 Highlanders joined in the moist post gloom for a 6:30 edition beat down.  Disclaimer provided, including reminder of required social distancing.  Additional disclaimer that YHC’s watch was running on about 1/2 % battery so we’d go for 45-ish minutes.

Mosey around the golf cart parking lot and gather in circle for a Warm-a-rama including SSH, Windmill, Mountain Climbers and Cotton Pickers.  *see moleskin below re: cotton pickers

The Thang:

A couple months back (PC = Pre-Covid 19) I had the opportunity to Q a Sat am beat down at MCP.  A plan was devised that would not only challenge but impress the PAX.  But, as we began to tour the AO the gate to the MCHS football field was open so how could we refuse.  Among other on-the-fly exercises, MAMA was born using the goal line, 10, 20, 30, and 40 yard lines.

Gather at the parking lot curb, facing golf course, with 4 parking lot islands ahead.

Run from curb/base to first island for an exercise, return to base, run to second island, exercise and return, etc, etc.  Once all four islands/exercises performed, run lap of lot and repeato x 3.  Yes, 3!

The return of MAMA includes:

Good news/bad news…  Good news = MAMA covered greater than a mile, bad = we were only 20 mins into the beat down.

Mosey across HC Parkway to the Shelley Ave rail for a series of Dips, Incline Merkins, Dips, Incline Merkins and Dips IC and then mosey back to HC Pkwy.

Poutine knew what might be ahead so Snape was given the option to choose our next adventure; left or right on the parkway.  Snape chose right (and shall we say correctly?) so we headed to Skyline Dr for our next MAMA series.

From the base of Skyline, up to each of the next 4 roads (2 of which can’t even been seen), back down and up again and again and again.

Time was short so back across the street to HCGC for Mary:
