Burpee Fest!

Four Pax from MECA Boondocks AO enjoyed a Big Tuna led burpee fest around The Village this morning. It was a great morning and we were greeted by nice warm temperatures with no rain in sight. Pax arrived early, shovel flag was planted, disclaimer give and here’s how it went down:
Warm Up
Mosey next door to the church for:
SSH (x20, IC)
Windmills (x10, IC)
Low Slow Squats (x10, IC)
Plank Jacks (x15, IC)
Mountain Climbers (x15, IC)
The Thang
Mosey up to the upper parking lot for some 4 corner work with burpees – as follows:
Start in the center – run to 1st corner for 8 burpees, back to center for 5 WWII’s, 10 CDD’S and 15 squats, run to 2nd corner for 7 burpees, back to center for back to center for 5 WWII’s, 10 CDD’S and 15 squats and repeat going to each corner for 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 burpees. Exercise and quantity stayed the same in the center before heading to each corner for decreasing burpees.
Continued burpee theme with round of “ Death by Burpees” – 4 lunges followed by 1 burpee, 4 lunges followed by 2 burpees, increasing burpee quantity up to total of 8 burpees. Quantity of lunges stays constant at 4 lunges.
Enough burpees for now – head over to the bench area for 3 rounds of abyss merkins (qty = 15, 10, 5) and dips (qty 20, 15, 10).
Over to the hill between lower and upper parking lots for:
Start with 10 jump squats at top, run to bottom of the hill for 10 jump squats and quadraphelia back to the top.
Continue with 5 burpees at top, run to bottom of the hill for 5 burpees and quadraphelia back to the top.
Mosey back to the Y entrance for 20 calf raises before Mary and COT.
