4 pax put in some HARD WORK for SMR training.  Goal was to get good distance and elevation.  Goal was accomplished.

We started at the Visitor’s Center and ran straight up the Pinnacle Trail all the way to the top – about 800 ft of elevation over 2 miles – virtually no downhill or flat spots on that route.  After losing Blowout for a few mins we trekked back down about .2 miles to the Ridgeline trail and followed that for approximately 3 miles.  After a short breather, we went back the way we came, including all the way back up to the top of the Pinnacle Trail for a picture (gotta do it for the Insta, right Stiffler?).  The run down was WAY more fun than the run up.  After finishing the run which ended up at approximately 10.5 miles and a little over 2,000 feet of elevation gain, we ended with COT and BOM.
