A run on sentence is poor grammar it would behoove the writer of the backblast to use good grammar so YHC presents the reader with this post.

When he could not summarily describe either the musings or the actions of this week’s Brighton Early Run in the balmy cold Tuesday morning gloom with sufficient bluster he resorted to endless ramblings and run on sentences to state the fact that he and the one other pax did indeed run an intended route instead of running to tables laden with bacon, eggs, oatmeal, and coffee.

We went diamond hunting looking for shiny red diamonds the kind one finds on the upper end of a Unistrut post driven into the ground at or near the end of a road Some roads have them and some roads don’t. Their existence and placement is similar in some ways to that relatively newfound practice in grammar called punctuation Sometimes you find it and sometimes not. When one finds it and when one doesn’t find it has no discernable pattern because if it was a discernable pattern then these red diamonds of which we sought would be much more prevalent among the streets and roads of our fair towns and city. And like punctuation, when used properly, they can be very informative for their users by conveying a very useful message; you’ve reached the end.
