MOLESKIN:
This was a fun one! There was lots of movement as the team aspect really amped it up a notch! I’ve truly never been more impressed by F3 brethren than the Grover vs. Phidip throwdown showdown! These two lapped most of us 10 minutes into the workout and came close to lapping us twice. I believe on Homeland and Pvt. Ryan and Tombstone escaped the “wrath of the lap.” They were in full BEAST MODE! Everyone gave a great effort and everyone got a great burn. When it came time to count the pennies vs. candy canes, I knew there was only one guy I could trust. DeerTick was given the honor and triple counted with a confidence I have not seen since he rocked the purple tux at his senior prom. Despite what many may call a stuffed ballot box, the pennies won the war and were awarded the victor spoil. Since Phidip led the way, he was given the trophies of two fantastic beer glasses, in honor of Hipbone’s F2 event. In true F3 fashion, Phidip made us all proud by sharing the spoils of victory with his running buddy and forever challenge partner, Grover. Each walked away a little more tired and a little more honored!
Prayers offered for Anita Johnson as she is fighting the good fight in the face of cancer. While it looks like the cancer is winning against her body, her spirit is preparing for her forever home that Jesus promised all of us who trust Him with forgiveness and life to the full. Praying with my F3 brothers is a great honor. Anytime we can approach the throne of grace together, we should always offer up all praise and honor and petitions to our God and King. May we all fight the good fight of faith and live the life that Jesus has called us to live. The longer I live, the bigger and greater God becomes. He is the God of More and He has plans for us that we cannot imagine. Let’s never forget how big He is and how much He loves us and is fighting for us.
I’m sorry it’s late, but I hope it’s worth it.
In His Service,
MM
