Rolling at the Mill

All BackBlasts Backblasts

January 11th, 2020 By Grandmaster

Six men gathered in the gloom and wondered if the Q was going to join them. As promised in the Preblast, YHC pulled into a parking spot about 0658 to make it 7. As the disclaimer was being given a certain cocaine addicted rodent (look it up) joined us to make an even 8.

Mosey around the horseshoe the long way and back to Switzerland for WARMORAMA:

SSH x20

IST x 15

BSN x10

Burpee x5

YHC was amused as we rounded the horseshoe to hear the SirTopem had spent quite a bit of time the previous week on a stationary bike during the scientific “testing” he had endured, which made the planned beatdown a bit of a challenge for him.

Thang 1:

One pax gets on the bike YHC has hidden in Switzerland and circles the horseshoe. The rest run together around the horseshoe in the same direction. When biker catches up Pax perform exercises below:

15 Squats

15 Mericans

15 Freddie Mercs

Plank for the six then start running again into the biker catches up. Switch bikers and start over again.

After about 35 mins of that we headed over to the deck for:

Thang 2:

Mosey to the deck with the bike and gather at the bottom. One pax rides up for ramps and back down while the rest perform AYG of exercise called by the biker as he leaves, no Burpees allowed.

Exercises included (in no particular order):

Star jumps, LBCs, Low flutters, something else.

Then we gathered at the base and had a people’s Q of core exercises and stretching.

MOLESKIN:

Konbains to Sirtopems backside for the additional seat time. The idea was to hit the legs with some running and hit ‘em again with biking. I’ve never heard so much belly aching during a beatdown in my life. I thought one of the points of working out outdoors was to get a little tough. Yet first I hear about how cold the ground was, then the bike seat is too low, then it was too high. Good grief! Just keep moving and burn some calories. /rant.

COT: Prayers for the country, job opportunities and the Gremlin coming up next Saturday.

In HIS Service,
