11 pax were in attendance for what had the makings of a good beat down: rain, extended time, burpees and pull-ups

Mosey to nuclear power station.
ISTs IC x 10. (YHQ did Hillbillies initially)
High Knees
But kickers
Toy Soldier walk
Mosey to Beverly Hills Elementary Playground
The Thang – Burpee/Pull-up Ladder(Frosty Special) with a Twist:
1 Pull-up on playground
Mosey to school drop off up the exquisitely carved and uniform steps
10 burpees
Down the expertly crafted steps to playground
Repeato until 10 pull-ups and 1 burpee and a lot of steps
Mosey back to AO for some light stretching
Mary:
Light stretching and a lot of chatter. It seems pax was eagerly awaiting post-beatdown beatdown in Frosty’s garage.
Thang 2:
Move all of Frostbite’s heavy equipment into moving truck with addition of 2 new pax, Luther and BCR
Moleskin:
The workout ended up being a lot more challenging than originally anticipated. This was due to YHQ dealing with multiple levels of ineptitude earlier that morning, ranging from an incompetent Uber driver to a truck rental that didn’t have promised equipment, despite a confirmation otherwise. That said, multiple pax commented on the challenging nature of the beatdown (if Grover is tired and has his hands on his knees, you know it wasn’t a walk in the park).
A YUGE thank you to everyone that loaded up the moving truck. We knocked out in 40 minutes what took me 4 years to move into the garage. Private Ryan was almost killed when someone decided it was a good idea to tilt a band saw backwards toward him on the ramp to make the clearance inside the truck. Understandably, no one wanted to move the dust collector, and it remains where it was positioned in my garage still. Catfish got his money’s worth loading the remaining boxes into the fully packed truck, and Anvil walked away with a scroll saw.
In all seriousness, it is amazing what a group of men can do with a single purpose and a timeline, and I am truly grateful for this group.
I was first introduced to F3 in April of 2016, when I was visiting my new managing partner prior to moving up here. A buddy who lived in Charlotte suggested I join him for an early morning workout while I was in town. Being from Florida, and the fact that it was April, I showed up that morning in shorts, a long-sleeved shirt, and toe shoes. The 28 degree temperature and the lack of feeling in most of body earned me the nickname, Frostbite (yes, they named after 1 workout, BCR). After that, I was hooked. When we moved up here officially in May, I looked up the Concord group and started attending. For 3 weeks, we lived in Private Ryan’s house (4 adults, and 4 kids at the time, now 7 kids) while we waited to close on our house. I borrowed warm clothes from him since all of ours were packed, but couldn’t convince him to join. It took a little over a year of asking before he finally made it out. I consider it a privilege to know each of you (except Backdraft), and thank you for the impact you have made in my life. I tell everyone I come across about our group because I am proud of who we are and what we represent. Thank you all…..except Backdraft, of course.
It is an honor to lead,
Frostbite
