START 2020 OFF ON THE RIGHT FOOT! This New Year’s Day join your F3 brothers for the inaugural Charlotte New Years Day 5K!

This family-friendly 5K and Fun Run takes place near UNCC and benefits three awesome food pantries serving the University City area – Camino Food Pantry, Hope Street Food Pantry and Jamil Niner Student Pantry. So, you can quite literally run off some of your own excess calories while providing essential calories for those in need!

Participants will run or walk along the Blue Line on N. Tryon Street starting at the Old Concord Road station and finishing just past the McCullough Station near West WT Harris Blvd. Each participant receives an ALL-DAY LYNX PASS, so you can hop on at any stop, join in the fun, and use the pass for the rest of the day!

WHEN: Wednesday, January 1, 2020 – Race starts at 10:00 am

NEW YEAR’S BRUNCH goes until 1:00 pm and includes PANCAKES, HOT COCOA STATION, HOT CIDER, CRAFT BEER SAMPLING, music, and family-friendly activities.
VIP TICKETS score you two post event MIMOSAS and a commemorative glass to toast your accomplishment in a cozy, heated tent.

8:30 am – Race Day Registration/Packet Chip Pickup
9:45 am – Bag Drop Closes
9:50 am – Pre-race Ceremony and Instructions
10:00 am – 5K Race Start
10:15 am – 1 pm – Post-Event Party
10:45 am – Fun Run Start
11:00 am – Awards Ceremony

$35 between now and December 31
$40 on Race Day
$5 for the Fun Run (Includes train whistle)
