‘Twas the Gloom before Christmas, and across the AO

Not a Pax was stirring, not even @Conchito.

While some remained snuggled all warm in their beds, visions of merkins flashed in others heads.

But I in my Mud Gear and gloves on my hands, pulled into the lot prepared with a plan. 

When out in the distance I saw faint headlights, I was happy to see @Sandman had arrived. 

As 5:30 loomed, together we gathered; the air was alive with sounds of mumblechatter. 

A disclaimer was given, fair and thorough. Then to Warmarama we moseyed and formed a circle.

We did side straddle hops and storm troopers, Imperial. We climbed mountains and picked various materials. 

We continued our Mosey toward the parked blue truck. And what did we find? A big Weinke, what luck. 

On it was posted a 12 Days beatdown, as YHC stepped up to explain how it’d go down. 

“Run a lap, 2 (8 count) burpees, power ups: 3; 4 Jump Lunges times two and 5 Golden rings. 

“At six we’ll do Apolo (Ohno), followed by 7 diamond merkins. Angel Sit Ups at 8 come before hand release merkins. 

“Down the final stretch there’s 10 air squats, followed at 11 by Carolina Dry Docks. 

“and finally to top it all off with glee, we round it off with a dozen burpees.” 

Now at the beginning, it might have not seemed bad. But as it all built, the Pax were less glad. 

When it was all through once again we all gathered, and moseyed back to Mary, though with less chatter. 

Once there we engaged in low flutters @Poutine, then did the W for @disaster favorite team.

We followed that up with the ol Mason Twist, then Pretzel crunched to finish the list. 

We formed a new circle, then counted and named; announcements were requested and TIME LAPS(E) was exclaimed.

We were reminded of Gremlin and to sign up post haste; Jan. 18 is looming, there’s no time to waste. 

Then we came together and locked up our shields, and asked the SkyQ to look over and heal; 

To bring back to us those who have drifted, and a final thank you for this season we are gifted. 

Fist bumps galore and we began to part ways; Merry Christmas Pax, have a good day.
