YHC wasn’t sure if the weather would cooperate and had a pair of workouts ready if the rain was falling. The alarm clock sounded and a quick check of the radar showed the rainfall was south of the county line. Yes! No parking deck for us this morning. YHC had the Q last Friday at the Dawg House and brought a replica to Kannon and the new streetscape in the Village
A dozen men hit the streets for a mosey promptly at 0530 towards the lot alongside the Gem Theater. A quick look in the alley to make sure we didn’t cause any surprises and interrupt any business taking place, we circled up for the warmorama.
- SSHs x25 IC, Windmills x15 IC, Toy soldiers x15 IC, Cotton Pickers x15 IC
A quick stroll onto West Ave where we lined up along one of the decks for a series of exercises, followed by a lap around the desk
- Dips x10, Derkins x10, Plank Jacks x10, Step Ups x10, One armed Merkin
- Repeato of the above in reverse order
Another stroll along West. We lined up to the turf area, but yours truly learned it’s used by dogs to do their business. Instead we lined up along the sidewalk and into the road, pausing for the occasional ‘car up’ call out. A run down the sidewalk to the wall, did a routine and a variety of returns to the start point as described.
- Squats x10, return with a bear crawl. Mountain Climbers x10, crab walk on the return. Monkey Humpers x10, return with a Sneaky Gorilla. Bonnie Blair’s x10, return with frog jumps.
Next, we line up against the wall and soon to be store fronts for the following.
- Ascending Testicles, with 10 Derwin’s at the 15 and 45 degree angles until we were full balls to the wall. Next jump up wall taps x15, people’s chair and wrapping up by putting one leg out to the wall and reaching towards your toes, x10 each leg.
Return to Mary to wrap it up.
- Dying cockroaches x10 IC, low flutters x10 IC, WWIIs x10 and Leg climbers x10 IC.
