Steel pax at Afton

All Afton Backblasts

November 13th, 2019 By Terrible Towel

YHC needed to design a non-running beatdown that would still keep us warm in the frigid temperatures. He also wished to use our cinderblocks without having to touch the blocks, that would just be cruel and unusual. The logical choice was a burpee-heavy beatdown, much to @Big blue’s delight. YHC modeled the workout after a previous iron pax challenge led by @Kojak last year. Apparently YHC was present but has no recollection of this.

MOLESKIN

Welcome to @Porto. Multiple witty, insightful, and creative nicknames were offered such as Burpee and Soprano and Ronaldo. Ultimately he was named Porto based on @Hop-hunter’s detailed research this morning before the beatdown. It turns out he doesn’t like wine and his rival futebol time is Porto so logically we named him after his two favorite things. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FC_Porto

Praise for @Hokie-P’s Sydney and her speedy recovery, praise for my own Sydney turning 4 this week.

Prayers for @Hop-hunters mom this morning, having a heart cath.

Thanks for the opportunity to lead.
