YHC rolled into the Rolling Stone parking lot at his usual prompt 5:29 to find the shovel flag firmly planted and Soprano waiting. Oddly, they did not arrive together. Where is everybody?

As MQ, YHC had a bucket of pain ready for this Q-less beatdown but it would be better served to a large group of Pax. Instead, as Soprano and YHC are both preparing for the Charlotte Half Marathon in just a few days, no need to over exert and risk injury. Self-audible and the two Pax decided an “easy” cruise in down the Greenway would better suit both of our needs.

Down and back for 2.8 miles of fellowship. Got some stretching in afterwards under cover from the rain. Recover, recover.

Just as a clarification, when two guys have been training for months for a long race, decide to go for an “easy” run, there will be nothing easy about it. It was a fast pace (for us) and particularly given neither of us came expecting that type of run, YHC would declare us both prepared for whatever this weekend may bring.
