With storms rolling in and the spooky morning air YHC wasn’t sure how many PAX would beat the fartsack and join him for a Candy Corn run, but the Dawgs are strong and a little rain never kept us out of the kennel!

1 Running Tug Boat Willie offered a pre-run to the run, but there were no takers.  He ran 5-6 miles and had soggy socks when he arrived to run part duex,  as he received the first buckets of water.  2 Ruckers showed up at 5 am to get their awesomeness on, and they went until 6:15.  YHC is not sure of the route, but our paths did meet as they were jogging down the streets of Carolando, because that’s what Ruckers do.

Then there were 5!  We met Tug Boat in the new area of the parking lot, because it seems as though the principal at JM Robinson is trying to push the Dawgs out.  First they roped off our parking lot, now they stole our tires!  Hopefully they don’t close the gates and lock em!  YHC told the PAX he was looking for a new route, a spooky route, but all I could come up with was the Rocket run, which could double as the candy corn run?!  So we headed out and right from the beginning there was talk that we took the wrong route for the top of the corn, but that wasn’t going to stop us!  On ward to the lines, YHC forgot how many hills this route had!  Tugboat willie was squishing and sqashing in his shoes until he couldn’t take no more, those 5 lbs of water logged shoes needed to come off, so he headed back to the parking lot.  The 4 remaining Dawgs took off down the streets.  Before YHC knew it my watch was beeping 3.2 miles, at a sub 8 pace?  Well, clearly the rain had gotten to my watch and it was off, no way I was running 8 min miles.  ONWARD!!  We finished the route, with only 1 real down pour that kept us cool and running like the gazelles we are.  We finished at the dawghouse with 5 but we started all together with 7!  So I guess YHC is in trouble for losing a couple of PAX members, but we wont mention that at the next meeting!  Fastest I have run yet, 3-8 min miles, thank you for the push!!! Till next time, it was a pleasure men!
