I arrived at the parking lot secretly hoping no one would show, but of course there was Big Blue ready to go, shortly thereafter 3 more joined in for the fun, for a total of 5. It did feel a little cooler, and Tugboat Willie showed us all how to dress for arctic conditions.  We followed the usual course. Uneventful up until the apartment entrance when Hop Hunter gave a yell, warning everyone, SKUNK!! Tugboat Willie wanted to stop and pet it, but fortunately Pharaoh was there to tell him to run faster. We escaped without anyone getting sprayed.  We made good time and reached the turn off for Mount Afton slightly ahead of schedule, Big Blue was in the lead and asked if we were going straight or turning right. Not wanting to let Big Blue know I was tired, I said of course, turn right for the mountain. Groans in the background. We made it back safely, all finishing up at about the same time, no one smelling like a skunk.
