Some hard work, some fun, some hard work

All Boondocks Backblasts

Friday evening when I was planning on what type of beat down to deliver on Saturday morning I thought I might add some fun to it.  You have to keep reading to find out more.

Disclaimer then off to the warm up which consisted of some SSH, Imperial Walkers and low slow squats.

Now the Hard Work:  Mosey over to the play ground set where we partnered up.  There are 3 levels of landscape bricks.  As a team, complete 100 box jumps on the lower level, 75 and the mid level and 50 at the higher level.  As one team member jumps, the 2nd team member runs a quick lap around the play ground.  The old saying, looked good on paper, but sucked doing it.

So to recover we had a little fun.  I took about 10 minutes and showed the PAX some basic self defense techniques.  Remember, don’t go home now and break your wife’s finger or kids wrist trying to show them what I showed you.  We finished this part with some flutter kicks.

Now back to work.  Yes, more box jumps but this time you had to do a Merkin in between each jump.  I can’t remember how many I had you guys do but I’m sure we did enough.

Enough fun at the play ground so we went over to Pork Chop Hill and did 5 minutes of Quadrafeelia.  Then back to the cars where after we dodge all the bikers we finished with some Mary.

Great job by all.  Great to Pacman back out too.  Guys are talking about the Spartan Sprint in April.  6 months to start training for it.

Nice conversation was had at coffateria QSource lead by Othello.  Do you know the difference between the Blue Pill and the Red Pill?  You need to show to know.  I now know..
