During last week’s COT at Pain Academy, Tough Skins came up with the terrific idea to pick up trash around the AO ahead of school starting next week.  Blue Crush and I quickly chased down the early arriving employee who turned out to be the school maintenance man and got his blessing.

I rolled in this AM at 0522 and noticed The Body with his headlamp already on the job with Nimbus around the corner.  Hornet and Silas pulled in with me so I distributed bags and we hit it. Hornet traversed the main building whilst Silas, The Body and Nimbus covered the Kindergarten and Academy buildings.  I took the bus parking lot, then Tough Skins and Chum arrived and went to the track.  All in all we all filled a good portion of our bags and everything looked a good bit better.

 

Snapped a selfie for the slack channel, deposited our bags in the dumpster, sanitized our hands like good little boys and took off for a quick COP all exercises IC.

Partner up.  Partner 1 runs right around the main building, Partner 2 runs left.  Meet in the middle for five partner merkins.  Continue in the same direction, meet in the front of the building.

Lungwalk to the concrete by Kindergarten building for extreme LBCs.  Those kinda sucked.

 

MOLESKINE:  Splendid work, gents.  T-Claps to Hornet for going to see The Smashing Pumpkins, getting home at midnight, perhaps consuming more than adult beverage(that’s merely speculation on my part) and still showing up for trash pickup.   Great idea, Tough Skins.  Next time we notice it piling up, let’s do it again.
