8 of the best looking studs in Kannapolis showed up for a hard core Kannon Cup beat down….for those slackers who fart sacked while challenging others *cough cough* Grandmaster!!  The others didn’t know there fate until 5:30am!

Warm-up (led by Virgin Q…Squid.  10 SSH IC, 10 Merkins IC (I think as virgin Q got a little off count…HAHA!), 10 Arm Circles IC, 10 Cotton Pickers IC

4 pairs of 2 teamed up to test their strength and endurance for the Kannon Cup!  Teams – Squid and Rawhide, Backdraft and Fresh Cut, Gunny and GVegas and Sir Topham and Red Oak.

The Thang – Everything with partner (except one PAX who usually does not follow directions) Level 1 10 Merkins, run up 2 ramps to level 2 and do 20 Squats, run up 2 ramps to level 3 for 30 LBC’s, run up to level 4 for 40 SSH, run up to level 5 for 50…..nah, 5 burpees!  Down the steps to level 1 and rinse and repeat.

Mary – called at 6:08 for June Ab challenge. 35 sec. plank, 35 sec boat, 35 Russian Twists (KGB’s) and 35 Flutter kicks.  Done at 6:13 for a free 2 minute stretch.

Moleskin – RESPECT! RESPECT! RESPECT!  The respects represented today! QIC (Sir Topham) had a feeling when he was paired with the beast, Red Oak, they had a legitimate shot at the title.  Especially since our Master QIC (Fire Chicken) was out of town.  He left a chance for others to win.  Everyone started together and Sir Topham and Red Oak had Backdraft and Fresh Cut right on their heels for some time.  Mid way through Backdraft does what he does best….doesn’t listen!  LOL!  He left his partner and continued to push as hard as he could.  Much respect for where he finished but maybe next time listen to your QIC’s rules.  Encourage your partner and don’t leave him.  But BD still showed out with a respectful hard workout.  Sir Topham and Red Oak noticed something strange during the workout…There was a bald bearded fella catching up and it was not Rawhide.  Who is this?! Was it a dream!? It was GVegas coming in strong at the finish!  He and Gunny (another RESPECT!) were killing it as a team but ran up just short on Sir Topham and RESPECT, Red Oak.  Much Respect for that hard push my friend!  Sir Tophman and Red Oak were the victors, with BD right behind us but missing his partner.  Gunny and GVegas 2nd (man doesn’t show up for months and kills it like that…great job G!!), BD and Fresh Cut 3rd and Squid and Rawhide 4th.  After the workout in the stuffy deck Squid not only rang the shirt out once but twice and continues to show he will give Anvil a run for his money!  Great push today gentlemen it was a hard core workout!  For the 3 respects today….much respect for you gentlemen showed out!!!  Honestly guys I don’t know how many circuits we did but I think it was 6 and that was hardcore!

Prayers: Luthor and his son praise report for some good news and Sir Tophams wife’s cousin (Crystal, husband Matt and son Joshua) Crystal checked herself into rehab for what has been years of addiction and battles.  Prayers for the whole family.
