On a relatively cool May morning 17 men gathered in the not as gloomy gloom for a Trivia-based beatdown.  With the Time Laps(e) race looming for some of us we needed a moderate beatdown that did not involve too much running.  After the disclaimer was made we mosey’d to the bus parking lot with some high knees, butt kicks, Karaoke and Stoli skips then gathered for:

WARMARAMA

• Merkins x10
• Low Slow Squat x15

THE THANG

YHC broke out the goodies in his shoe backpack to reveal a weathered box of cards from the Trivia Pursuit game, a die and a piece of paper with he categories listed.  With this displayed the rules of the game were explained.  Each PAX would rotate to the front, roll the die and ask the question corresponding to the category to the rest of the group.  If they got the question correct the individual would call out an exercise, and number of reps before rotating to the next person.  If the collective PAX did not know the answer to the question they would do 5 burpees.  This rotation continued until it was time to mosey back for Mary.

BOM & COT

ANNOUNCEMENTS:

1. Speed tomorrow at Highland Creek.
2. Regular Saturday 7 AM beatdown at Mallard Creek Park.  Q needed.
3. Come out to the Whitewater Center Saturday evening to watch the end of the Time Laps race.  @Landlord will be running solo and attempting to set the course record for most miles run in the 24 hours.
4. Convergence at Davis Lake on Saturday, May 25^th.  There will be no beatdown at Mallard Creek Park that day.

MOLESKIN:

1. FNG Isaac was named today – F3 name is Shaft.  Thanks to Italian Job and The Farm for coming over for his second workout.  Looking forward to having Shaft as part of the AO.
2. Trivia Pursuit questions generated a lot of good mumblechatter, especially since the version used was the original game.  @Disaster thought they were written on parchment with a quill pen but was also the only one who needed assistance reading the card.
3. Good selection of exercises, some stationary in the circle but others took us on jaunts.  @The Farm was disappointed there was not more running since he wore his special running shoes.
4. @Prince Charming took the next step to making @Alcatraz his Father In Law.
