Easter at Afton

7 men arose on the morning before Easter to remember the sacrifice Jesus made on our behalf. All reps were in counts of Biblical significance:

40 – a time of testing (40 days/nights of rain in the flood, 40 years the Israelites wandered in the desert, 40 days Jesus was tempted in the desert)

12 – 12 sons of Jesse, 12 tribes of Israel, 12 disciples of Jesus

7 – completeness (7 days of creation, 7 sons of Jacob, march 7 times around Jericho, wash 7 times in the Jordan)

3 – the trinity (God the Father, God the Son – Jesus, and God the Spirit)

Here’s how we remembered the numbers and promises of God:

Disclaimer: F3 is not affiliated with any religion and it is up to each pax what the 3rd F faith looks like. My personal sky Q is the Christian God so it being the day before Easter I framed my workout reps around that.

It was an honor to lead this morning in celebration of Jesus’ sacrifice. It was a great mix of guys this morning and seemed like several got in pre runs and pre rucks.

I’m sorry Booter couldn’t join us for the workout – good luck and prayers on recovery  and way to get after it on the pre run though! Sorry we missed you Big Blue we didn’t mean to His from you this morning but it did leave us with 7 which is the number of completeness…
