Great group today and great effort by all. There was some debate over the accuracy of the Q’s PSA was 2.99 miles a typo, Jedi mind trick or just flat out miscalculation… we may never know, Either way we cover roughly 3.75 miles of rolling hills and got our daily dose of merkins and squats. Spud continues to crush it. John Daly looked strong posting his longest run to date, keep pushing.
Two years ago I decided I wasn’t happy with what my life had turned into, something needed to change. I wasn’t sure what that was or where to start then one day with some encouragement from a friend I set my alarm 2 hours earlier then I had since I don’t know when. That day, when I challenged what become my status quo, changed my life. To say I struggled through that workout would be an understatement but the struggle made me stronger. The past two years and have had ups and downs and have been the best two years that I can think of, and I own that everyone of you even Backdraft.
George Bernard Shaw Said
“The reasonable man adapts himself to the world: the unreasonable one persists in trying to adapt the world to himself. Therefore all progress depends on the unreasonable man.”
Reasonable men accept the status quo I encourage you all to be a little less reasonable and challenge whats comfortable because when we grow, when get stronger is when we step out of our comfort zone and challenge the status quo.
Thank you for the past two years I look forward to many more
