Takes Longer To Workout As You Age
Three years ago, YHC Q’d a similar workout with slightly less reps that the group was able to breeze through with no issues. However, this morning did not go similarly. Although now that YHC has done more research, I realize that I overlooked a few minor details from back then…like we were in groups of THREE on a SATURDAY. Oh well! See BB here for what I wanted to do. See below for what we actually did.
Arrive to Davis Lake late which already had the heart pumping and blood flowing (better than having an accident driving or in my shorts due to indulging at lunch and dinner last night).
Hop out of the car ready to surprise the pax by making them do a bunch of reps of 37 until they figure out it’s YHC’s birthday.
Have YHC’s plans ruined by my overzealous M who blurts out it’s YHC’s birthday as she runs off with a friend to log some miles.
Change course to do the following:
37 SSH IC
15 IST IC
15 MC IC
Mosey to corner of DL Pkwy & David Cox
Windmills x 15 IC
Mosey to apartments on left
Monkey Humpers x 10 IC
Mosey to HT
Partner Up and perform the following:
300 Air Squats
One man is running at all times.
Mosey back to the clubhouse.
Plank for 1 minute
COT, BOM, OUT!
I enjoyed celebrating another year on earth with you gentlemen. Sorry I didn’t read my old BB more carefully but we still worked several muscle groups and I logged almost 2.5 miles in the process. Although I joke about getting ‘old’, it is because of F3 that I believe I’m getting stronger with age in all three Fs. I look forward to MANY more years with you guys. Enjoy your day. Make it good!
