Rollin’ at the Mill

A comfortable morning awaited the 11 men of Kannon for Shooter’s Q in the village.
Warm-o-ram-a
- A short mosey around the village, never sure what roads would be blocked off. After one detour, we found our way to the alley alongside the Gem Theater.
- SSHs (25 IC), Hillbillies (15 IC), slow Cotton Pickers with a reach to the sky (10 IC), Windmills (10 IC) and arm/shoulder circles.
- Next up an Indian run along Research Campus Dr, make a right by the deck and to the rail yard to pick up some iron railroad tie plates. Circle up in the adjacent parking lot.
The Thang
YHC opened up the bag and dumped out four wooden blocks/dice, with an action to be completed on each roll. The pax rolled all four dice and we performed each of the actions. Some dice had the bonus, “with block” add-on and a handful of ruckers did the BYO thing. We completed about 5-6 rolls. The breakdown of the dice activities were:
- The Merkin dice: Regular Merks on two sides, Tempo Merks, Mountain Climbers+Merk, Peter Parkers, Shoulder Tap Merks
- The ‘mostly’ on your six dice: LBCs, WWIIs, Freddie Mercuries, American Hammer/Russian Twist, Monkey Hummers, and the wildcard F3 dice where the pax that rolls it,, which wasn’t rolled this time
- The mixed dice: Mountain Climbers, Smurf Jacks, Jump Squats, Shoulder Press, Burpees and the J-Los
- The mosey dice: Run lap w/block, Indian Run, Quadraphelia, Run 3 laps, Carioca, and the Bear Crawl
Lots of humor with the Kannon pax banter and chirping. Definitely one of the more boisterous AOs for a beat down.
This is YHCs fourth time bringing the dice to a beatdown throughout MeCa. One quarter of the way to Chicken Strip’s all MeCa AO Q achievement.

Prayers / Announcements
- Prayer’s for Survivor’s wife, Sarah and her recovery. Be on the lookout for a Meal Train from Fire Chicken.
- Daytona’s college roommate and his wife and the outlook on their pregnancy. We lift them up and pray for a miracle.
- Pray for the difficult decisions and conversations that are coming up for the pastor at First Baptist.
