Running with a splash of pain
YHC posted for his 2nd visit to Skywalker. I’m trying to get better at running and posting at Skywalker on Mondays is a great way to do just that. After a brief gathering of PAX in the parking lot, someone made the call to run one of the 9’s in a direction I’m not sure of. I’m not sure who called it, if we ran the back nine or the front nine and I’m not sure if we ran it forward or backwards. I just know we ran and we stopped every once in a while for a PAX to dish out some pain. Some of the pain stations that I can recall were: merkins, burpees, SSH’s, low flutters, LBC’s.
Nice run on a brisk morning. Great to see Ye-haw back out today after being there last Monday when he was named. And a big welcome to FNG Jason! I heard him say something about being down and out a while with a back injury. Hopefully you are well and ready to get after it. He was also concerned we might not be there due to the cold. Just an FYI for Jason: the 3rd (of 5) Core Principle of F3 is that workouts are held outdoors, rain or shine, heat or cold. F3 will get you into shape. Keep posting fellas and you’ll be seeing results very soon!
And since YHC is participating in the Redpill Challenge, that’s the reason why I’m writing the BB. It’s now an official workout! I challenge my brothers at Skywalker to go for the challenge. Your friendly neighbors at Rolling Stone welcome you to join us on your off days at Odell Primary to help you get your patch with the RPC.
See you in the gloom next time. Note: I’m not fartsacking on the Chicken Foot next Monday, I’ll be out of town. I’ll take a rain check for it and cash it in soon hopefully!
