8 PAX decided to roll out of their nice warm and fuzzy beds to post on the November frozen tundra known as the Kannon AO. It was a crisp 25 degrees which just added to the theme of the beatdown.

The Thang:

In honor of the Q’s 50th B-Day he decided to make himself and the PAX better by performing the exercises he least desired. As an added bonus the count for the exercises would total 50.

• Jack Webb’s x 50 (I dislike Jack Webb’s because it is two movements that seem easy but are very difficult and at my first post, the Q, Gnarly Goat almost caused Merlot from the Gunny while performing them with bricks.)
• Monkey Humpers x 50 (I dislike them because men should not do this movement in public with other men.)
• Bear Crawl 50 yards (I dislike them because I am not a bear and I learned to walk early in life.)
• Crab Crawl 50 yards (See above)
• KGB’s x 50 IC (I dislike them because I have a boney butt and it is uncomfortable.)
• Vance Street Suicides (This is a new one from Firechicken, see Monday’s Backblast. This one I dislike on multiple fronts; running, running uphill, running back in forth for suicides.)

Announcements/Prayer Requests:

2. If anyone knows of a family that is in need for the Christmas season that lives in the South Rowan area, Gunny’s Church is sponsoring families. Contact Gunny for details

Moleskin:

YHC was glad to see 8 turn out on this cold morning. There was some griping about Bear Crawls, there was some griping about Vance Street Suicides, and there was some griping about all of the Jack Webb’s. That being said we all became stronger today. If you are not willing to do the hard stuff then you’re probably not going to get any better. The YHC is lucky to have brother PAX who continue to push him even when he is doing stuff he doesn’t like. Today he hoped he returned the favor. As always, it was an honor to lead this AM.
