Anyone could lead this workout!
All Comanche BackblastsOctober 25th, 2018
6 Pax joined the QIC for a chilly 39* workout. It was great to see Robin’s Nest back after Passporting his way around MECA this fall. Kudo’s to this workout warrior for completing the Passport Challange fastest!! It was also great to see Jackpot back and Mr. McFeeley at a Bootcamp workout. Chicken Coop sped in just in the nick of time taking up Hammer’s position of last in. After a verbose disclaimer we were off.
Short mosey around the parking lot throwing in some Karokees, High Knees and Butt Kickers. Stop in front of the school for:
Warm-o-Rama consisting of:
- SSH X15 IC
- Windmills X15 IC
- Low and Slow Squat X15 IC
- Imperial Storm Troopers X15 IC
- Cotton Pickers X15 IC
- Merkins X10 IC
The Thang
Mosey over to the trailers to grab a cinder block and carry the block over the teacher parking lot with alternating raise and lowers. Commence 10-1 Ladder consisting of Cinder Block:
- Curls
- Overhead Press
- Chest Press (begin with 20 and decrement by 2’s)
- Skull Crushers
- If early finish either plank or bent rows
After each set run wait for Pax to complete their set and run around the Teacher Parking lot. After the 5th lap QIC was running next to Coop when he stated booring but effective. On the 6th lap Coop upped the anti with “No offense Oboe but anyone could lead this workout”. Which is very true so for anyone who hasn’t queue in a while — you don’t have to be super creative to give a good beatdown!
Returned cinder blocks and Mosey back to Mary Lot for:
Mary
- LBC’s X25 IC
- Low Flutter X10 IC
- Low Dolly X10 IC
- Pretzel Crunch X10 IC / Flapjack

- We heard a little more about 10 and 2’s injury story and someone may be a bit red-faced with they return. We miss you buddy — get well soon!
- Great to see Jackpot back — hopefully he can keep it up with the cold weather coming
- I don’t think anyone noticed the chilly temps after the first round or two of the ladder
- QIC was motoring around the lot for the 1st 4 rounds but Hammer picked up the pace beginning round 6. I tried to keep up but wasn’t happening — i’ll blame it on being 6 yrs his senior!
- Mr. McFeely was working the skull crushers so hard that he broke his cinder block!
- As always – a pleasure to lead you men today!
